To fulfill its Mission statement, PCPS offers a variety of long range planning, current planning and special planning services.

	Long Range Statutory Plans - Intermunicipal Development Plans; Municipal Development Plans; Area Structure Plans; Area Redevelopment Plans; vision strategies; Land Use Bylaws
	Other Long Range Plans – non-statutory Community Plans, Outline Plans; Open Space Plans, Growth Studies
	Current Planning - day-to-day planning advice on development and zoning; subdivision processing and approval.
	Special Services – site designs and concept plans; heritage planning; community consultation; demographic analysis and population projections' special studies and research; maps, graphics and displays.

PCPS also provides current planning and/or subdivision processing/approval services to 33 urban municipalities, including the 20 member municipalities, 8 rural municipalities, 5 provincial government departments, 4 agencies, 1 private corporation, 2 First Nations and 36 other private clients.
